Glazed Nuts

- 3 cups walnuts or 3 cups pecans
- 2 tablespoons margarine, melted
- 1⁄2 cup corn syrup
- 1⁄4 cup sugar
directions
- Combine margarine and corn syrup and heat to boil.
- Put nuts on a cookie sheet. Put in 250 degrees oven for 5 minutes.
- Take out of oven, then pour the boiled syrup mixture over nuts and mix well so they are coated all over with the syrup.
- Spread out on the cookie sheet. Bake in a 250 degrees oven for 1 hour, turning once in a while. Take out of oven; sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar over the nuts.
- Mix well; store in covered container.
