  1. I keep pulling up winners on recipezaar! this was great. pork chops were juicy, and the apples went well w/the onion mix. the sauce topped it all off perfectly! not too sweet overall, and if you add pepper to the chops while cooking them, you get a nice sweet/spicy taste to the dish. also, i cooked the sauce for a few minutes while stirring, while the recipe says just to stir till smooth. it turned out better. very good, i'll keep making this one for sure.

  2. Very tasty, although the apple flavor was overshadowed by the onion soup mix. Next time I'll use more apple.

  3. Not your typical sweet , dry glazed pork chop recipe. Pay close attention not to overcook the chop's or the fruit and your sure to please everyone.

  4. This was my first time ever making pork chops and I really enjoyed this recipe. I used Granny Smith apples which added a tart taste to the meal. The pork chops came out moist and perfect. Next time I think I would add a little more brown sugar and less onion soup mix and apples.

  5. I made a half recipe since it was just me and my husband for dinner. The dish came together very quickly and was delicious. The only very slight change I made was to substitute vegetable oil for the butter. We will definitely enjoy this dish again.

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
