directions

  • Arrange the sliced apples in a baking dish.
  • Crumble margarine, gluten-free mix, sugar and cinnamon by hand. Don’t over do it. You want it to be crumbled, not mashed.
  • Sprinkle the topping over the apples and bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

  1. I love making this (because I have celiac). It is VERY easy to make and so delicious, you wont know its Gluten Free!!

  2. Soooooo easy is no lie! This was easy and good. I added two handfuls of gluten-free oats to the topping, and a little bit of allspice in addition to the cinnamon. Also ... I used pears instead of apples. Still easy. Still delicious.

  3. Not only did my celiac husband love this, so did everyone else! They didn't know it was GF.

  4. Excellent & easy. I used Cortland apples right off the tree (very crisp/hard) so after I put them in the baking dish I covered & microwaved for 4 minutes. I then made the crumble top plus I added 1/8 tsp allspice and (1) envelope of GF instant plain oatmeal (1.7 oz). I used butter not margarine. This will be my go to favorite Apple Crisp recipe for my entire family. We have celiac and dairy (not just lactose) health issues. Could not tell it was GF.

  5. It was delicious!
