  1. using a pastry cutter of knife, blend the butter into the flour until in resembles breadcrumbs.
  2. add the water and bring together into a soft ball of dough.
  3. wrap in cling film and leave to stand for 30-60 minutes.
  4. roll out gently and use as per your recipe, (i found it easier to roll out with a lightly floured rolling pin on a lightly floured surface).
