- 3 lbs fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 fresh garlic clove, minced
- 1⁄2 cup butter
- 1 1⁄2 cups half-and-half cream
- salt (optional)
- pepper (optional)
- 3⁄4 lb monterey jack cheese
directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Melt butter in saucepan, add sliced mushrooms and minced garlic. Cook until liquid is gone, then stir in cream and (optional) salt and pepper to taste. Layer with cheese in 9" X 9" casserole dish.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35-45 minutes.
