Golden Pumpkin Meringue Pie

"This is another recipe clipping that Mom collected. I am sure there is one here on Zaar, but I just want to put it here for safe keeping. These are all cut out of magazines and I have no idea which magazine or paper they came from. Some are even newspaper clippings."

  • Beat egg yolks slightly.
  • Add pumpkin milk, sugar, spice, and salt.
  • Mix well.
  • pour into pie shell and bake at 425* for 15 min.
  • reduce temprature to 350* and bake for 45 min or until pie is set.
  • Cool.
  • Beat egg whites and salt until soft peaks form.
  • Gradually add marshmallor creme.
  • Beat until stiff peaks form.
  • Spread meringue on top of pie, sealing to edgeof pie.
  • Bake at 350* for 15 min or until lightly browned.
