  • Preheat oven to 400 deg.
  • Combine all ing. in mixing bowl and mix with electric mixer for about 2 minute.
  • Pour into greased 8-8" glass baking dish and bake for 35-40minute or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

  1. This is my favorite cornbread recipe! I do find that the 8x8" pan is too small - you kind of have to burn it to get it to cook through. I find that a 9x13" works better - just shorten the cooktime.
     
  2. This has been my go to cornbread recipe for years now! It comes out perfect every time, and my family always requests it. A COOL TIP: pour the oil in the measuring cup first, then the honey; the honey will pour out easily without a drop left.

  4. This is a nice sweet cornbread. I followed the recipe ingredients exactly. I cooked it at 350 deg for 30 minutes. It was pretty brown but the middle was done. Made for PAC Fall 2007
     
  5. This had a great flavor, but the middle didn't quite get done, while the edges were starting to get really dark! Will definately try again though -- yummers!
