ingredients
- 1 head romaine lettuce
- 1⁄2 1/2 cup craisins or 1/2 cup apple
- 1⁄2 - 3⁄4 cup almonds or 1/2-3/4 cup sunflower seeds
- 1⁄4 - 1⁄2 cup red onion
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1⁄2 cup mayonnaise or 1/2 cup Miracle Whip
directions
- Chop lettuce, onions, and almonds.,.
- Put lettuce, fruit, nuts, and onion in a bowl.
- Separately, mix dressing ingredients- mayonnaise, sugar, red wine vinegar, and dry mustard.
- Mix salad ingredients with dressing before serving.
- Note: I use a couple of packets of stevia instead of sugar. The dressing can be thinned by adding milk.
