ingredients

Crust
1 cup butter, softened
2 cups flour
¹⁄₂ cup confectioners' sugar
Filling
4 eggs, beaten
2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon lemon zest
6 tablespoons lemon juice
¹⁄₄ cup flour

directions

Mix 2 sticks butter, 2 cups flour and confectioner's sugar. Spread in a greased 9 by 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes -- make filling while baking.
Mix filling ingredients and spread over baked crust. Bake for another 25 minutes.
After baking, run a sharp knife around the edge and sprinkle with confectioner's sugar.
