  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. In a large saucepan, combine and melt the chocolate, 2 tbsps. butter and condensed milk over low heat while stirring.
  3. When melted, remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
  4. Melt 1 cup butter and then stir in sugar until well combined.
  5. Add to the chocolate mixture from Step 1.
  6. Beat in the eggs one at a time and then add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
  7. Fold 3/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts into the mixture (optional).
  8. Turn mixture into lightly oiled 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan and cook for 30-35 minutes.
  9. A cake tester will NOT come out clean!
