ingredients
- 1 lb browned hamburger
- 1 cup macaroni
- 1 (28 ounce) can pork & beans
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can tomato soup
- 1 dash curry powder
- salt & pepper
directions
- Mix ingredients together. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.

I took everyone's advice and cooked the pasta, I still felt this recipe needed something more, it was o.k. but a tad boring, needed more spices or something. I could see young kids liking this one. -
3 stars, corrections needed, will amend review once corrections are made. Macaroni ingredient should specify that it is to be cooked and drained before adding to the casserole. Directions should state to lightly grease a 2-quart casserole dish while the oven preheats. All in all, this was a good kid-friendly dish akin to Sloppy Joes, one DH will make in a pinch because it is easy to keep ingredients on hand. Made for 1-2-3 Hit Wonders. -
I followed the recipe exactly, and after 30 minutes in the oven, I ended up with crunchy macaroni. Perhaps the recipe should call for cooked macaroni. As it is, I ended up adding an extra cup of water and baking for another 30 minutes. The flavor was fine, and the kids liked it. -
*Kid Tested and Approved* This was so easy to make. I did not want to bake it so I cooked the pasta and added it to the browned gr beef. Then everything else went into the pot. Cook it until it was hot and served. I did add an extra cup of macaroni just because I had a bunch of hungry kids. I'll be making this again. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe!!
