Gorgonzola Popovers

"Recipe is from my "California Sizzles" cookbook. The recipe states that if you do not have a popover pan, you may substitute glass custard cups."

  • Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. Beat eggs and Gorgonzola cheese with electric mixer. Add milk, butter, flour and salt and beat just until batter is smooth.
  • Pour into well greased 3/4 cup capacity popover pans, filling each about 3/4 full.
  • Bake for 25 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 20 minutes longer until puffed and browned.
