- 1 lb hamburger
- 3 -4 medium potatoes
- 28 ounces diced tomatoes
- 1 lb elbow macaroni
- 14 ounces green beans, drained (optional)
- salt, pepper, paprika (to taste)
directions
- Brown hamburger in a large pot.
- While the meat is cooking, boil the pasta to al dente and set aside.
- Cut the potatoes into small cubes (less than 1/2") and add to the hamburger.
- Cook the meat and potatoes for ~5 minutes over medium heat before adding the diced tomatoes (juice and all) to the pot.
- Season liberally with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Put a lid on the pot and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until the potatoes are tender. The smaller your cubes, the faster they'll cook.
- Once the potatoes are cooked through, add the green beans and macaroni and stir to combine.
