- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 (28 ounce) can tomatoes
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 large white onion
- 3 -4 celery ribs
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 tablespoon garlic clove
- 1⁄2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- 12 ounces elbow macaroni
directions
- Chop onion into 1" piece. Slice celery down the middle of the stalk, then slice it up.
- Brown beef in a large pot or frying pan. Add celery and onions and simmer until vegetables are tender.
- Add tomatoes and tomato paste, and all spices. Stir and simmer.
- Boil pasta as directed. Drain. Add pasta to sauce mixture. Simmer for 45 minutes.
