  1. Cook macaroni in boiling salted water until tender; drain.
  2. Melt shortening in a med sized skillet. Add flour, stirring until smooth. Add milk gradually. Stir over heat until thick. Add salt, pepper, mustard, cheese and green pepper. Remove from heat.
  3. Place a layer of macaroni in a greased baking dish. Cover with olives and pimentos. Continue until both ingredients are used up.
  4. Add sauce, sprinkle top with bread crumbs and dot top with butter.
  5. Bake at 300 until bread crumbs are browned.
