Directions

  1. Boil potatoes in skins. Cool, peel and grate.
  2. In a saucepan, saute onion in butter.
  3. Add cheese and cook until cheese melts.
  4. Remove from heat and add sour cream, salt and pepper.
  5. Fold this mixture into potatoes and empty into a buttered 2 quart casserole dish.
  6. Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes.
