  • Preheat oven to 450°F.
  • Cut shortening into mixed dry ingredients until the mixture is the consistency of dry cornmeal. Add the milk and molasses all at once, to the dry ingredients. Stir dough for a scant 1 minute. Drop by heaping tablespoons onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

  1. These graham biscuits are superb. I have graham flour that needs to be used and found this recipe. I cut the recipe in half not knowing if we'd like them or not. Well, I'll be making a full batch tomorrow. I baked as directed at 450 (scary for me) and they came out perfect at 10 minutes. The hint of molasses is perfect. The amount of brown sugar is perfect. I would not change a thing. To me, they are more like a cookie rather than a biscuit. This is a very quick recipe to put together. Hint: Lightly spray your tbsp. with cooking spray before filling with molasses and the molasses will easily slide out of the spoon.

Her sweets are fantastics, especially her pound cakes, Yummm <br> <br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
