Graham Cracker Fluff

- 2 large egg yolks
- 1⁄2 cup sugar
- 2⁄3 cup milk
- 1 ounce unflavored gelatin
- 1⁄2 cup cold water
- 2 large egg whites, stiffly beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 12 graham crackers, crushed
directions
- beat egg yolks, and add sugar --
- add milk and cook in top of double boiler till slightly thickened --
- soak unflavored gelatin in cold water for 5 minutes --
- pour hot mixture over softened gelatin --
- stir till smooth --
- chill until slightly thickened.add beaten egg whites, vanilla and heavy cream to chilled mixture --
- combine melted butter, sugar and cracker crumbs to make crumb crust --
- sprinkle half the crumbs into bottom of serving dish --
- spread chilled mixture over crumbs.
- sprinkle remaining crumbs over top.
- chill in the refrigerator for several hours before serving.

I love cooking, and reading Christian fiction..I have 5 grandchildren..4 boys and 1 spoiled granddaughter...I also have a black cocker spaniel named Tobey..who is very spoiled..Love computer games, cross stitch and reading cookbooks..I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia almost a year ago, on September 26, 2005....was in an out of the hospital for 8 months, doing intensive chemo...I am doing well now, thanks for all the prayers...
