  • Spray a 9x12 pan with pan release.
  • Mix all liquid ingredients together in a large bowl.
  • Add potatoes, onions and cheese. It's ok if the potatoes are still frozen. You can use frozen onion too.
  • Scoop into baking pan. Spread evenly.
  • Top with cornflakes or potato chips.
  • Bake 350 degrees F for 1 hour.

  1. I am so happy to find this recipe. My name is Ed szluk, I don't think that this was my grandma,but it could be. She was a great cook. I loved her and she loved me, even though I was a black sheep in the family and called little Mikey after my father. I am now 80 years old. When I last saw her I was 15 years old and she was about 90 years old my grandfather was 95 and was still smoking cigars every Day

  4. LOVED IT!!!!! I used fat free sour cream and a non-transfat spread and omitted the onion, and it was sooooooo gooooooood!!!!!! Definitely a keeper!

  1. Excellent dish! I would definitely make this again! It was very easy to make. I substituted italian bread crumbs for the corn flakes. Everyone loved it & wanted the recipe from me.
