"My grandma's famous recipe, except I use sour cream instead of the traditional cheeses (a trick I picked up from my mother-in-law). Delicious!"

Hi, I'm Erica. I'm a junior at Ohio State University majoring in Social Work. I've been living on my own for about 3 years now, making my own dinner. I cook mostly traditional American dishes/comfort food. I learned to cook a lot from my grandma by helping with Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter dinners throughout my childhood. I took several cooking projects in 4-H and my dad has always been a great cook and encouraged me to try new things myself. My favorite cookbook is a Betty Crocker book (the one in the big binder) that my mom gave me that she got when her and my dad got married. It's from like 1986 or so but it's got all of the basics covered. I'm always burning taco shells.
