“Very old polish recipe that my Grandmother made at Christmas time. Can use whatever type of preserves you wish. We usually use poppyseed, cherry, or apricot.”

Directions

  1. Sift flour, baking powder.
  2. Cream butter and cream cheese.
  3. Add egg yolks and the sifted ingredients.
  4. Refrigerate 2 hours.
  5. Roll out dough on a floured board.
  6. Cut using a circular cookie cutter.
  7. The thinner the better.
  8. Put thumb print in each with favorite preserves.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 to 15 minutes.
