  • 3 cups rhubarb (cut into 1 inch pieces)
  • 34 cup water
  • 1 lb candy orange slices
  • 1 lemon, juice of

directions

  • Cover and cook rhubarb in water over low heat until tender (about 15 minutes).
  • Cut candy orange slices (gumdrop type) into rhubarb.
  • add lemon and cook slowly--stirring frequently--till thick.
  • Pour into jelly jars.
  • Grated lemon peel can also be used to enhance flavor.

  1. This is awesome! I used lime juice because I was out of lemon juice, assortedflavors of candy fruit slices, and about 1/4 cup of sugar. I also used mixed citrus zest. This WILL go in my cookbook!
