“I don't really know where this recipe came from, but my husband brought it home one day from a lady he used to work with. It was two very old looking recipe cards photo-copied. I'm putting it here for reference; I always lose it and am rummaging through my cookbooks and pantry every year at Thanksgiving. I'm not a fan of sweet potatoes, but my husband and everyone else just loves it! It's pretty east to throw together, too!”

Directions

  1. Combine potatoes, sugar, salt, eggs, butter, milk and vanilla.
  2. Mix together and pour into greased 2 1/2 quart flat casserole dish.
  3. For topping combine brown sugar, flour and butter and nuts in small bowl and sprinkle over top of potato mix.
  4. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until browned well.
