  • Core and slice apples (peel if you wish). Cut into 3/4 inch chunks.
  • Peel bananas and slice 1/2-inch thick.
  • Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.

  1. Thanks Lisa! This is so simple and easy to make, and it tastes terrific. The bananas make the whole thing. Also, the whipped topping (fat free naturally) is pleasant to look at because it is so brilliantly white. No beige hint that you get with mayonaise. Drizzle a little lemon juice on the fruit as you chop it. It not only sets off the fruit taste, it keeps the fruit from browning excessively.

My family is usually scared to ask what's for dinner as it probably will be something we have never had before and none of us know if we will like it. I have a family full of picky eaters, but I always make them at least try something before deciding if they like it or not!
