Directions

  1. Arrange rice in 9x9 cake pan.
  2. Mix together eggs, milk, sugar, salt, and vanilla.
  3. Pour over rice.
  4. Sprinkle raisins in if desired (i love it with raisins!!).
  5. Sprinkle top with nutmeg.
  6. Place on cookie sheet in oven, pour water on cookie sheet to prevent scorching.
  7. Bake 425 for 25-30 minutes.
  8. Test with knife, done when it comes out clean.
