  • Cook onion and garlic down in olive oil in pot. Add in sausage and cook for a few mins -- add in blanched carrots, salt and pepper -- cook till carrots are soft -- add in green onions -- cook for two minutes.

I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. My great grandmother, grandmother and mother taught me to cook while we were at our Southern Bayou Home on Bayou DuLarge in Theriot, La. I have been cooking my entire life. I am dating a wonderful cajun man who is from more of the country of the cajun's rather than the bayou. So his meal likes tend to be just a little different than mine. While my cooking and meal likes are more seafood oriented, his tend to be more meat oriented.
