  1. I have had this on my list of recipes to try since it first was posted, but am now just getting around to it. We have a cool beans and grains store here and that is where I got most of the ingredients. The granola was really very easy to make and it tastes so yummy. Much better than store-bought. The molasses and brown sugar are the most distinctive flavors. For the dried fruit, I used a combination of golden raisins, craisins, and dried apricots. My whole family loves snacking on granola and we are now set for quite a while. Thanks LDJ.

  2. I have been making granola lately and this is very good. I used Quaker's Multigrain Oatemeal(rye, barley, wheat, oats), which worked out well. I used walnuts, pecans, and almonds. For the dried fruit, I used raisins, dried cherries, and dates.I left out the banana chips(couldn't find any). Loved this! Thanks LDJ!
