Directions

  1. In large bowl, combine flour with sugar, baking powder and cinnamon.
  2. In separate bowl beat egg with melted butter and milk.
  3. Combine ingredients and stir in apples.
  4. Transfer to a buttered 8" square baking pan.
  5. Topping:
  6. In small bowl mix together flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  7. Cut in cold butter until mixture resemble coarse crumbs.
  8. Sprinkle over batter.
  9. Bake in preheated 350 oven for 40-45 min or until centre springs back when lightly touched. Cool.
