Greek Bread

ingredients
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 2 teaspoons all purpose Greek seasoning
- 1 loaf French bread
- 1 (4 ounce) package , tomato-basil or (4 ounce) package plain feta cheese
- 1 (2 1/4 ounce) can sliced ripe olives, drained
- 1⁄2 cup drained chopped pepperoncini pepper
directions
- Combine first three ingredients, stirring until smooth.
- Slice bread loaf in half lengthwise.
- Spread cream cheese mixture on cut sides of bread.
- Sprinkle feta cheese, olives, and peppers over cream cheese mixture.
- Place bread on an ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 375 for 15 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

This made a great appetizer at a recent get-together with friends. It was very well received, despite the fact that I accidentally bought fat free feta (yikes!). i just added lots of extra olives and hoped for the best, and it came out just fine! I considered throwing on some halved grape tomatoes that I needed to use up but decided against it; in the future I think that would make a fine addition. Thanks so much for posting.
