  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons all purpose Greek seasoning
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1 (4 ounce) package , tomato-basil or (4 ounce) package plain feta cheese
  • 1 (2 1/4 ounce) can sliced ripe olives, drained
  • 12 cup drained chopped pepperoncini pepper

directions

  • Combine first three ingredients, stirring until smooth.
  • Slice bread loaf in half lengthwise.
  • Spread cream cheese mixture on cut sides of bread.
  • Sprinkle feta cheese, olives, and peppers over cream cheese mixture.
  • Place bread on an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake at 375 for 15 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

  1. This made a great appetizer at a recent get-together with friends. It was very well received, despite the fact that I accidentally bought fat free feta (yikes!). i just added lots of extra olives and hoped for the best, and it came out just fine! I considered throwing on some halved grape tomatoes that I needed to use up but decided against it; in the future I think that would make a fine addition. Thanks so much for posting. Made for Went to Market tag.
