  1. This recipe was fabulous!. I did however use the "Vidalia Onion Dressing" instead of the bottled version. Also, I didn't use croutons because this was made for a picnic and I didn't want to risk the croutons getting mushy. I made it the day before so it had marinated nicely. Served the almonds seperately as a garnish. It was such a hit everyone wanted the recipe! I used the largest can of green beans and doubled all ingredients except the dill weed (I used 1/2 tsp. dried dill). Served around 12 people.

  2. Oh so yummy!!! I needed something different for lunch today. I found a bag of frozen green and gold beans in my frozen and cooked them up (steamed in bag!! Love that !!) While they were cooking, I came to 'zaar for help. This sounded yummy but I didn't have the dressing, so I went hunting for one. I chose Recipe #52337, and wow!!! Check that one out for a perfect compliment to this recipe. (I hate bottled dressings anyway, lol!) I halved the recipe and like I said, used frozen beans. This is a keeper!! Loved it!!

  3. Absolutely loved everything about this... the flavour is wonderful (even the picky eater in the family had seconds) and it is quick as a wink to prepare. Thanks for a winner!

  4. Really simple, and very good! I used a creamy garlic dressing. I will make this again, it's great to put together at the last minute before your guests arrive.
