directions

  • brown meat, drain and pour back into pot.
  • add canned chiles (if using fresh, broil until black, remove skin and seeds, chop fine).
  • chop and add red onion.
  • add garlic.
  • add salt and pepper.
  • add cream of cheese soup.
  • stir together and put over medium heat stirring occasionally.
  • salt and pepper to taste.
  • chop green onion and mix with bread crumbs.
  • fry tortillas in vegetable oil (about 2 minutes per tortilla).
  • line small glass baking dish with tortillas.
  • scoop in meat mixture and spread evenly.
  • evenly sprinkle shredded cheese on top of bread crumbs.
  • sprinkle bread crumb and green onion mixture evenly over top.
  • broil until cheese is melted and topping is crispy.

I love to cook, but only when I have the freedom to experiment with flavors and ingredients. Most of the time, I do not follow a recipe. I'm more of an open the fridge look around this sounds like it would be good kinda girl. Most of my creations are well recieved, others, not so much...hope you enjoy my creations as much as me and my family!!!
