- 2⁄3 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1⁄3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 5 tablespoons chives, chopped fine
- 1 tablespoon fresh tarragon, diced fine (option)
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 1⁄3 tablespoons tarragon vinegar
- 1⁄2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon anchovy paste (to taste)
- 1⁄4 cup heavy cream
directions
- Combine all the ingredients in a blender, and blend together well. It should have a very lite green color. Store, sealed in the refrigerator for a day before using. The flavors will blend and improve with time.
- Serve it on the salad of your choice. Works especially well on seafood and seafood salads.
