  1. Delicious! Reminded me of a savory rice pudding. It lends itself to variations, i.e. different herbs and spices, to go with what ever you are serving. Will be making this again.

  2. We also found this a tad dry, but everyone enjoyed it. I used a combo of white rice and brown rice. What we also enjoyed was the spinach and parsley in this. I left out the salt. Will save this as I would to make again this week, and add a little extra milk, and will update. Made for Zaar`Stars.

  3. I loved this. DH a little bit less. He didn't like the texture. But I liked it and DS also. I omitted the butter and it was great. I didn't use parsley. I didn't add the salt. I'm surprised that DS liked this because of the spinach. Thanks Loof :)

  4. this was a great rice dish but i found it to be just a little too dry, just personal taste, I also added in 1 teaspoon garlic powder, some green onion and cayenne, I may try adding in more milk or cream next time, thanks for sharing loof!

  5. A fabulously delicious rice dish which is so versatile and so easy to prepare. We enjoyed this with grilled salmon, but next time I make this I'm thinking that I'll simply adding a can of salmon so that it is a one-dish meal. Because we're not overly fond of worcestershire sauce, I omitted it and added instead 2 teaspoons of white wine, just enough to add a flavour we preferred to worcestershire sauce. I used reduced fat milk and unsalted butter and certainly erred on the side of generosity with the quantities of both the parsley and the spinach. While mixing all the ingredients, I added some cumin and about a tablespoon of chopped walnuts. Just love the textural variety, as well as the added flavour. A truly yummy dish which I'll certainly be making again. Thank you for sharing it, loof!
