  1. To prepare vegetables: Trim ends off of green beans, cut in half. Cut tomatoes and onions into 1/4 inch thick wedges. Finely chop or mince garlic.
  2. Heat olive oil on medium heat, add onions and pinch of salt, and saute for 3-5 minutes, until the onions start to sweat and turn clear. Add garlic, saute 3 more minutes. Before the onions and garlic start to brown, add 1/4 cup water, the spices, and the green beans. Cover and let green beans steam for 10-15 minutes.
  3. After the green beans are cooked, add the tomatoes. Cook 3-5 minutes until the tomatoes are warmed through.
