Grill Roasted Leg of Lamb

  • Using indirect method, preheat the grill.
  • Make 6 deep cuts into the lamb.
  • Place a whole garlic clove into 4 of the cuts.
  • Place a sprig of fresh mint into 2 of the cuts.
  • Cut lime into quarters -- squeeze 2 of them onto the lamb & rub into the meat.
  • Season to taste with the LAWRY's.
  • If the leg is netted, thread the 3 sprigs of rosemary through 3 places on top or fasten down with skewers or toothpicks.
  • Squeeze the remaining lime quarters juice on.
  • Place uncovered in heavy duty aluminum roasting pan.
  • Insert meat thermometer.
  • Place on grill & close the cover.
  • Roast until internal temp reaches 175° to 180° -- about 2 to 3 hours.
  • Remove from grill & loosely cover with foil & let set for 15-20 minutes before carving.
  • ENJOY!

We also enjoy Panera Bread, Dickey's BBQ &amp; Picanha Brazillian Steak House!!!<br />I've been married since 1977 to the most wonderful lady a man could ever ask for. We have 9 beautiful Grandkids...5 girls 4 boys, a VERY SPOILED white German Shephard (Tori) &amp; a VERY goofy cat (Angel)!
