Ingredients Nutrition

  • 6 ounces fresh raspberries (1 1/2 cup)
  • 14 cup raspberry spreadable fruit
  • 8 slices whole grain bread or 8 slices whole grain cinnamon-swirl bread
  • 12 cup creamy almond butter (MUFA)

Directions

  1. Mash fresh raspberries into raspberry spread in small bowl with fork. Spread 4 slices of the bread with 2 tablespoons each of the almond butter. Spread about 3 tablespoon each of the berry mixture over the almond butter and top with remaining bread slices. Lightly coat outsides of bread with cooking spray.
  2. Place sandwiches on large nonstick griddle or skillet over medium-low heat (in batches, if necessary). Cook 5-7 minutes, turning halfway through, to brown both sides. Cut each in half and serve.
