"Different way to have your corn. My hubby and I lovs it this way, and you already have the butter on it, so no hassle that way either! Wonderful in sooo many ways!"

  1. Yum. Super simple and good. Thanks for sharing. Made for What's on the Menu tag.

  2. This recipe is so simple yet so yummy! The perfect BBQ accompaniment. Be careful that you don't cook them any longer though as they do burn. Recommended!

  3. Awesome! Really, really simple, quick and tasty. I added a little salt and cracked pepper to the packets.

  4. What a great way to prepare fresh corn when you have the grill fired up! It didn't get smoky or charred, either.

  5. I got this all ready to put on the grill and realized I was out of propane so had to broil it. The butter added in the packet was perfect and the cord came out tender and well cooked; just not charred or with grill marks. Made for I Recommend Tag.

Tweaks

  1. On a 3 burner gas grill... I lit 2 burners; one was all the way down to the rotisserie setting, and the center brunner was set to grill. Keeping the starting temperature at 400*. (NOTE: I did 30 half ears for a company picnic). The temp was at 400* when I loaded the corn. By the time the lid went down, the temp was about 300*-325* it took roughly 15-20 minutes to reach the 400* mark, and that's when I turned a Quarter turn. I followed the same procedure back to 400* and turned another Quarter turn. AND SO ON to 4 turns. (Brushed with melted half Honey Butter and half Butter & noticeably sprinkled with Carolina Dirt BBQ Rub). And when the corn came off the grill, There was a SLIGHT TRACE of Char, and the butter was caramelized and the corn was perfect! At one point, I had forgotten if I turned the corn Clockwise or Counter Clockwise, so slowdown on the Gin & Tonic! Straight off the grill, the corn went directly into a small cooler, and was still still pipping hot after 3 hours to Dinner Bell. Unwrap and Enjoy.
