Grilled Fresh Beets

"Every summer I go to the farmers markets and get fresh vegetables. Lately the farmers in our area are planting many different types of beets. This recipe is simple and the tender young beets are great."

  1. What a delight! I have to admit that I had to use jarred beats....I went to 4 different stores and couldn't find any!! But I just had to make these....so I went ahead with the recipe since I was grilling already tonight. I'm so happy I did...these are wonderful! Just as good cold as they are hot. I used lots of black pepper, because I love it. Eliminated the salt, since they were jarred. Thanks for sharing! Made in honor of your win in Football Tag, Week 1! Happy Birthday!!

  3. I knew grilled beets had to be as easy as roasted ones but I just had to see it before I could try it : p These turned out great and didn't require heating up my kitchen on a beautiful summer day. Thanks for the guidance!
