Ingredients Nutrition

  • 1 small onion, grated
  • 14 cup hoisin sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 12 teaspoon hot pepper flakes
  • 24 large raw shucked oysters, patted dry
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped
  • 12 wooden skewers, soaked

Directions

  1. Stir together onion, hoisin, garlic& pepper flakes.
  2. Add oysters and marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Thread 2 oysters onto each skewer.
  4. Place on greased grill over high heat.
  5. Brush with reserved marinade.
  6. Cook, turning once, for 2 minutes or until firm.
  7. Sprinkle with cilantro.
