  1. preheat oven 230 degrees.
  2. cut the rice paper into 12 small squares and lay on your baking tray like playing cards.
  3. mix the almonds and icing sugar.
  4. cut the glace cherries in half.
  5. beat the egg whites stiff and add the almond/icing mix.
  6. put into large star piping bag.
  7. pipe one whirl onto each square of rice paper.
  8. put cherry into centre of whirl.
  9. into oven for 5 minutes until brown.
