  1. mix minced garlic salt and pepper into meat.
  2. roll into small balls and place on the bottom of a casserole dish.
  3. layer onions sliced thin.
  4. layer potatoes sliced thin.
  5. layer carrots and squash sliced thin.
  6. layer cheese slices or omit them
  7. cover evenly with diced tomatoes and sprinkle garlic and herb mix on top.
  8. cover and bake at 350 for one hour.
  9. uncover sprinkle on parmesan and recover cook another 30 minutes.
  10. let rest and serve!
