- 1⁄2 white onion, chopped
- 6 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1⁄3 habanero pepper, no seeds
- 4 medium tomatoes, chopped
- cumin powder
- white pepper
- black pepper
- 2 sun-dried tomatoes
- 3⁄4 cup milk
- salt
directions
- Melt butter in a skillet, add the chopped onions and garlic and pepper. Sautee until fragrant.
- Chop up the tomatoes, and toss in and sautee with the other veggies. Add a pinch of cumin powder, white pepper and black pepper.
- When everything is soft, dump it into the blender and blend till smooth. Add the milk and sundried tomatoes and blend a bit more.
- Return to pan and reduce a bit. Add a pinch of salt to taste.
