  • Cream together sugar and butter. Add eggs; beat together. Add milk, vanilla and lemon juice.
  • Whisk together flour, salt and baking powder.
  • Add liquid ingredients alternately with dry ingredients. Stir in gumdrops.
  • Cook in a tube cake pan at 325F for approximately 1 hour.
  • Remove from oven, leave in pan for 10 minutes. Remove form pan and let cool on wire rack.
  • Dust with icing sugar.

Her sweets are fantastics, especially her pound cakes, Yummm <br> <br>I guess the dish that I am famous for is my Christmas ham - my family all comes home for Christmas, and if i don't have my ham they are dissapointed, and my grandson wants the pistachio squares!!! so I guess that is the dishes that I'm famous for.
