Ham and Scalloped Potatoes

"I use my food processor to slice the potatoes and onion. The ham seasons the potatoes nicely. This smells great while cooking."

  1. My husband and I found this recipe to be really bland. The ham kind of lost its flavor during the cooking and the rest just didn't have a lot of flavor. I will not be making this again.

  2. Delicious! Used the cream of celery soup and cubed left-over Christmas ham with had bits of orange zest. Gave it a really zing with every bite. Thanks for posting.

  3. I followed this recipe to the letter and we didn't care much for it. Though it did smell great, it was salty and we didn't like the taste of the potatoes. Sorry. )o:

  4. I'm new to crockpot cooking and this is the first recipe I tried. I made this with layers of sweet potato mixed in as well. DH loved it and has requested that I make it again next week. Very easy.

  5. I used that cubed ham they sell in vacuumed sealed packs and 5 Yukon Gold potatoes, which are kind of small. I still did 3 layers. It almost filled up the crockpot. I didn't have much cheddar so I used 8 oz. of colby jack, some gruyere and some fresh parmesan. I used a can of cheese soup and the sauce was a bit thin. I think next time, I'll use less soup.
