  1. I used a 9x9 square glass pan for the quiche and added an extra egg. The quiche was rather bland; it needs more flavor; maybe green onion and more pepper...

  2. with ham mushroom and broccoli, there's too much stuff and the liquid spills over. maybe i'm not using a deep enough pie crust....

  3. Needed to use up some left-over Christmas ham....and added benefit - I also had broccoli in the refrigerator that I'd forgotten about and I needed to use that up as well. I love mushrooms - had to make a trip to buy those. Very simple. DH & I ate 1/2 of it at one sitting - and we're not big eaters. I made it just as the recipe is written. Will make again. Thanks.

  4. super simple with a nice flavor. Like some other reviewers, I added an extra egg. I also reduced the milk to 3/4c to avoid any "watery" issues. One could easily swap spinach for broccoli, add bacon, and get creative with cheeses. The process will be the same. Will definitely make this one again.

  5. Really enjoyed this recipe! Word for the wise....never try to substitute liquid coffee mate for milk in quiche! It still tasted good though! :-)

  2. My whole family gave this a "10" so I will definitely make this again. I had to omit the mushrooms because the kids won't eat them. I used bacon in place of the ham and used 4 eggs. I also pre-cooked the pie shell a few minutes. Wow this is a keeper. I will submit a picture. Thanks.

  3. Excellent flavor! I substituted frozen spinach for the broccoli and used Monterey Jack for the Swiss cheese, as these were what I had otherwise did exactly as recipe stated. I will definitely make this again. Thanks so much Jodi! Sherry J.

  4. Quick and easy quiche! I substituted fresh mushrooms with a jar of sliced I had on hand and added more broccoli too. This was so good! Hubby loved it and leftovers at lunch the next day microwaved wonderfully. Thanks for sharing your recipe, yupkigirl!

I made this account back in 2001, when the site was called "Recipezaar". A lot has changed in my life since then. My kids are all grown and I try to eat a low-carb lifestyle now. Some of my older recipes were handed down from my grandmother. I hope you all enjoy them as much as I have. Current recipes that I post will mostly be low carb or keto.
