  1. This was a soup with lots of flavor. It was a little on the salty side even though I used the but end of a honey baked ham with the bone and all. Maybe next time I'll just add one more teaspoon of sugar and see how it turns out. I know I'll make it again though because it was easy and very good on a cold winters night!
     
  2. Excellent recipe - one of the best soups I've made. I used "Daddy Hinkly's Steak Marinate" in place of the Soy sauce, which has some vinegar and corn syrup in it, but it turned out great. Has a nice kick to it for extra flavor.
