- 3⁄4 lb ground beef, browned or 3/4 lb ground venison, if you want to be traditional browned
- 1 1⁄2 tablespoons flour
- 3⁄4 cup water
- 1 1⁄2 teaspoons salt
- 3⁄4 cup cooked peas, if desired
- mashed potatoes, hot
directions
- Mix flour, water and salt together.
- Add to meat.
- Cook until thickened.
- Add peas if desired.
- Serve over mashed potatoes.

Very good! I made this for lunch for DH, his dad and I and it was a hit just like long ago. I did add some onions and garlic along with salt and pepper and served it over mashed potatoes. Along side was a nice green salad. Thank you for the memories and I definately will make again. Made for Zaar Alphabet Soup Tag game.
