ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3 tablespoons chopped onions
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1⁄3 cup catsup
- 1⁄8 teaspoon dry mustard
- 3⁄4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
directions
- Brown beef and onion in oil.
- Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Serve over open hamburger buns.

I myself really, really liked this...But my kids still preferred the "Manwich" sauce to this. My opinion, is that this is homemade, made from love, and totally tastes wonderful! However, I have to give it 4 stars only because my kids didn't really care for it, but did seem to eat it all (but no seconds this time)...I personally really liked it! Thank you, MizzNezz, for sharing! :)

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!!
I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch.
We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
