  1. Thank you, Braunda. This is very good. I made it lastnight and it was so easy to make. I did put mine in a tortilla with cheese and sour cream and it was delicious. BH ate his by itself and loved it. Thanks again for a wonderful recipe.

  2. Very good! A fast and easy supper! I melted 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese on top. We had it with cornbread and green beans. A good ole southern feast. Good recipe Braunda! Thanks! :-)

  3. This is good simple fare. Nothing more or less. I did add the splash of white wine, some garlic, parsley, Worcestershire sauce AND some bisto...but it still was a little too bland for DH. BUT we decided it might be an excellent base to do a corned beef hash from and with St Patty's Day coming....

  4. This recipe was perfect for something to make after a long day and not really wanting to cook. The only change I made was to use beef broth instead of water, and it turned out wonderful. Thank you for a easy and quick dish that tastes great without all of the fuss. :)

  5. We usually don't eat meat during the week, but this looked so simple and easy, I gave it a shot last night. Good call. With just the younger two Dornettes at home the three of us finished this up quickly. And we listened to Braunda and did not forget the ketchup! My only problem with the recipe is after I cooked the potatoes and onions I didn't know what to do next, add the hamburger back into the pan, or mix them together off the stove. In the end I added the hamburger back in, and added a healthy dose of paprika and a tiny bit of tomato juice to get it a little "saucy". A good simple supper, thanks Braunda!

  2. For this recipe: I used extra lean Ground Beef; There is something about the aroma of cooking beef.... there is none like it; combine sauteed onion, and fresh garlic with seasonings and you have a one-pot-meal, fit for any person's appetite. I, too, added shredded mozzerella to the top of the Hamburger Hash, and allowed it to bake in the oven about 15 minutes at 400F, in order to melt the cheese. Now, I did have to add liquid, but Braunda, instead of water, I used dry white wine. It did not detract from the original recipe and smells absolutely devine during the cooking process. Served up with a fine endive salad, dressed with EV Olive Oil, and balsamic vinegar (my favourite) and crusty Italian bread, the meal was enjoyed to its fullest extent. Thanks Braunda..

I do not think I have a pet peeve. I think people are different for reasons that are not known to us. We just have to get along. I always look for the good in people and not the things I do not like.
