Hamburger Seasoning

"This is very good when either mixing into the hamburger and/or shake some on the burger while cooking. Want it a little more spicy? Melt a slice of Pepper Jack or Chipotle Cheddar Cheese on your burger. -OR- Double up on the Cayenne Pepper"

  1. We had this seasoning on burgers last night....delicious! I omitted the cayenne (just so I can add it later to mine if no one wants theirs spicy). But my husband and I really liked the flavor of this seasoning. It wasn't overpowering at all, just a very nice blend of flavors. Thank you for a great recipe. I plan to try this on other meats as well!

  2. Everyone loved this seasoning, however... see my tweak.

  3. I have used this seasoning for over a year and the whole family love it. I now make it up in a large air tight container and it keeps well for a good time.

  4. For lunch today I made this seasoning up and used in hamburger patties which DH grilled on the barbeque and served with recipe#327332#327332 and some sliced tomatoes, cucumbers and onion. Delicious! Made for Spring PAC 2014.

Tweaks

  1. I added 1/2 teaspoon cumin to the seasoning. I didn't have accent or onion powder so I added a teaspoon of onion soup mix and then added a couple of shakes of worchestershire sauce to the meat. Also one well beaten egg.
